Pets Best really is the best

Pets Best is always fair and upfront about what is covered and not covered. I have all 4 of my animals on Pets Best insurance and I would never trust any other company to help me take the best of care of my fur babies.

Thankful for Pet's Best!

I have a few other health Insurance on my other dog as they have evolved throughout the years. I like what I read on Pet's Best back in 2017 and adding my new rescue in April 2017 then in 2018 I added another rescue to Pet's Best. Within 2 months my new rescue dog had an emergency obstruction surgery, Pet's Best handled this claim with NO issues what so ever! I highly recommend them! Thank you Pet's Best!

I have dual coverage and to sift through this maze was Ithala Post who was patient and sensitive and always there for Phoebe and I. The Pets Best website is user friendly. Each claim submitted has been dealt with promptly. I’ve recommended this coverage to anyone I know to have their FurrBaby insured through Pets Best.

Do not use if you love your pet!

Awful! They will find any reason to not cover whatever it is your filing a claim for. Why bother paying for pet insurance that you can't even use!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
