Everything about your service was amazing - from your phone representative to your prompt, detailed paying of our claim. I'm telling all my friends about you. Wish you were my health insurance company!

So easy I didn't believe it

Pets Best has been one of the easiest insurances I have ever used. I work for a human health insurance company, so I figured when my dog had a cancerous tumor, I was going to have to spend hours gathering medical records and appealing decisions to get any payout. Color me surprised when I submitted my claim just by describing in three sentences why she had services, and a week later having the money in my account! I cannot say enough good things about how easy and quick everything was.

Thank GOD for Pets Best

I thank the claims processors for helping me get my claim processed quickly, so I could focus on my poor sick kitty that is in liver failure right now. They made it so quick and easy I cant thank you all enough.

Dont pay for pet insurance you cant use!

Thankfully i didnt have much invested with them when i got mostly all of my claims denied. I adoped a 4 year old lab pitbull mix and got him insurance the as soon as i did and didnt find out until months after that he had minor heartworm disease. Even though he has been on heartworm prevention since i adopted him they refused to cover it. So glad they are such "advocates" on covering adopted dogs in need. (Sarcasm)

Multiple Pets Insured - No Complaints

Wish you had options for multiple pets in your checklist, rather than space for either a dog or a cat. I have been a policyholder with Pets Best for many years. I currently have one GSD and 4 cats, two of which are Siamese, insured with the company. I have the policy which covers illness, accidents, prescriptions, office visits (for medical issues only) and medical procedures, i.e., surgeries. There is a choice of deductibles which can affect the reimbursement. The company offers a multi-pet discount and is one of the few companies which has a live representative answering the phone directly. Pet insurance, like all other insurances, is one you you hope neverto have to use, but are grateful for if you need it. My animals have been generally very healthy, but one of my Siamese has a chronic auto-immune issue which will require immunosuppresant medication for life. Fortunately, all of my pets were insured immediately upon acquisition and anything that develops subsequently is not considered pre-existing, thereby insuring permanent coverage. I would urge anyone considering pet insurance to acquire it before there are any problems; otherwise, they will not be covered for that condition. I submit my claims directly to the company, rather than having my vet submit them. I receive a confirming email directly from the company very quickly and, assuming that my deductible has been met, have the reimbursement deposited into my checking account very quickly. The company is very flexible and allows me to pay my premiums for respective pets semi-annually, which is very much appreciated. If I have any complaints, it is not limited to Pets Best. For the life of me, I cannot understand why pet insurance doesn't cover dental disease and treatment, i.e., gingivitis. My 12-year old Calico recently had a dental procedure due to dental disease. Not to have had the work done could have resulted in organ failure, i.e., kidney, which, ironically, insurance does cover. This, in my opinion, is false economy. Not only is one's pet's health jeopardized, but the cost of treating the ramifications of dental disease would far exceed the $600. I paid for treatment. As I said, Pets Best is not alone in its philosophy. However, how nice it would be if the company were on the cutting edge of covering dental disease, thereby providing life saving treatment for one's pet and saving money for the company in the long term. I have recommended Pets Best to many of my friends. Most of those have signed on with this company. Those who haven't have had regrets....particularly my friend whose Corgi had two ACL ruptures, which cost thousands of dollars to repair.
