Fast, Easy claims process
"My cat Shere Khan ate 2 screws and needed emergency surgery. He had some complications with the surgery and it got really expensive really fast. His bill ended up being just shy of $11,000. It was a huge relief to know I could get him the care he needed without stressing about the cost. I filed the claim on a Friday night, it was a holiday weekend and I was shocked to hear my claim was accepted and my money was on the way just 4 days later on a Tuesday. The money was in my account 1 week after the claim was filed. It was beyond easy and fast and definitely a life saver. I highly recommend pets best to every pet parent. "

Pets best has been great for me
Pets best has been incredible. After having two dogs go through serious health complications with no pet insurance, I’ll never have a pet again without it. I adopted my new pup last year and very quickly got insurance. It was extremely easy to set up, and figure out what met my budget. Thankfully I did. She has had a tough time with her stomach sensitivity. It’s led to many vet visits. After meeting the deductible, everything has been paid back to me in a timely manner. Very simple uploading vet bills through photo. The only thing I would say needs some work is the app functionality. Sometimes it will ask you to log in multiple times. It just needs some updates. Customer service has been friendly, efficient and well educated every time I’ve had to call.

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date.
