Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I can’t express how grateful I am to PetsBest. First of all, it’s affordable for me each month. Like most people, I’m not made of money but my cat is my baby and I wanted him to be covered if he ever needed it. I work in animal welfare and I know things happen all the time, sudden illnesses, unexpected injuries, even just kitty colds develop. These things just happen and I wanted to be prepared for when they did. Even if you do everything right for your pet, health problems will still arise, they just do. Well 6 months into having this coverage, we needed it. My sweet cat swallowed a piece of one of his toys and it created a blockage in his stomach/intestine. I was worried beyond belief, and knowing emergencies are expensive made it even worse. But I double checked my policy and saw my plan covered emergency expenses. I put the costs on a credit card, knowing I’d be reimbursed later on, and I was able to focus on the well being of my baby. Filing a claim couldn’t be more simple, you literally just take a pic of your receipts and upload it, I did it all on my phone. Within 3 weeks, I was sent a reimbursement check that covered 90% of what I paid at the ER. I couldn’t be more grateful to PetsBest. And I’m happy with myself for choosing to go with them. My cat is doing amazing now. He is only left alone with toys that he can’t chew up, lol. Knowing he is covered for the future helps me sleep easier at night. I plan on adding the wellness plan to my policy when it renews. It costs a little more a month but it is so worth it. I joke and call myself the unofficial spokesperson for this company because I tell everybody about it! I recommend it to everyone I know who has pets. I literally forced my sister and my mom to get coverage for their pets. I told them they won’t be sorry and neither will you!! Thank you PetsBest ♥️

Thinking of canceling this insurance since my other dogs’ insurance elsewhere seems to cover more services.

I am so grateful for this company. They are always very helpful when I have questions. My dog ended up having some unexpected medical expenses this year that I don't know what I would have done without this insurance.

This company is horrible. They will find every single way to not pay your policy out. The passing of my dog was made 100 times worse because they refused to pay his final vet bill. They knew I was not going to return to the company because he passed and took it as a final opportunity to screw me. They blamed his passing on a heart murmur he has had his entire life.
