Waiting Period Is Too Long

The waiting period is a lengthy wait. It needs to be improved. (Edited after your response: I meant the waiting time for claim approval. It took me 30-40 days. It is ridiculous.)

Slow claim processing; long phone hold times.

I have had to call recently due to slow claims processing. When one calls, call waits are upwards of 30 minutes usually. I am frustrated paying my premium when you owe me hundreds of dollars in claim payment.

20 yrs of premiums equals ZERO customer…

20 yrs of premiums equals ZERO customer loyalty We were told we had met our deductible. only to find out that someone at the company had entered a claim in the wrong place, therefor we protested and were told the "review" could take 30 to 90 days before resolution. Our dog has been diagnosed with a cancerous growth that requires immediate attention. We are seniors on a fixed income and were counting on the company to expedite Our "review", no can do, not their policy no empathy for us or our beloved pet. Terrible Customer Service Will drop them ASAP. Not even rated in the top 10 companies. Caveat Emptor

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
