This company takes months to process a…

This company takes months to process a claim, and they keep asking for the same information over and over even after it has been uploaded. I can NOT recommend them at all, it's a horrible, annoying, time-consuming waste of time to deal with them.

Claim took a long time and not worth it

Claim took an extremely long time to be reviewed. My dog is on the wellness plan and this claim was for a physical exam which required blood work and fecal/urine test to get my dog established at the vet for the first time. The review that came back only covered the vet's manual examination or $70. This is not what was understood from your advertising and promotion. Very disapointed

Easy, fairly quick and super helpful.

The process is simple and user friendly, and usually, fast and well explained. So far the insurance have been super helpful and worked well for us. The monthly payment had increased but I still think is doable and worth the investment. I’m glad that I’m able to get my pupps insured with PetsBest.

I’m so shocked by what happened to me…

Please please stay away from the company. I called and asked lots of questions - after I signed up for Pets Best wellness, I scheduled a routine yearly visit. I’m so shocked by what happened next- this horrible company denied 100% of the claim -said it was an illness visit when it was a routine visit. I had already paid three months of 80/mo. insurance because it took about 50 days to process the claim. Have all paperwork from the vet stating it was a routine visit and my pet is healthy- and they still denied my claim saying he wasn’t covered yet - that I needed to have waited two weeks for the illness coverage. They wrote multiple paragraphs of pure gibberish trying to explain but even my credit card company saw it was bogus and is working with me to get my money back. This company openly stole my money- they didn’t even do it well- it is very obvious that this is some kind of scam, and they hope people won’t follow up. I’m so shocked and feel extremely personally violated by my experience with Pets Best insurance.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
