Reinstatement wasn't possible after 7 yrs.
I was overjoyed to have my cat safely returned after being missing for six weeks. She was found in a city approximately seven miles from our home. Upon her return, I hoped to reinstate her insurance policy but was informed that reinstatement is not possible after 30 days. When I inquired about any possible exceptions, particularly given my unique circumstances, I was met with a firm denial. Not only was I required to open a new policy, but I was also unable to secure the same coverage as before.
While I appreciate the insurance services provided, I had hoped for more flexibility or consideration, especially as a loyal Nationwide customer of seven years.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Exclusions
