Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

My coverage renewal went up significantly when moving to MD, yet converge for services remained at sale level as previous state. Many of the rates of payment are far below standard costs at the veterinarian these days. While we are pleased to have some reimbursement on fees for our visits and care, I hope that someone will look into ‘average price’ for the areas where people live, and coverage of supplements that are aiding in preventative/medical care. Everyone chooses to start pets on meds as part of a treatment plan with a veterinarian’s recommendation... if that is the case, they should be included in the benefits you provide. B

This is the first experience I had had having insurance for pets. I am so grateful I elected to have it through my employer. Without it would have created a fina cial strain and even resulted in me electing to not get proper care for my dog. Nationwide has been excellent both in thier customer service and prompt payment of claims. The ability to submit claims electronicaly with payments made directly to my personal account, resulted in quick reimbursement to my upfront payments. As long as I have pets, I will maintain xocerage for them under Nationwide.

Needing expensive anti-venom treatment for our dog after a snake bite was an easy decision knowing the insurance was there to assist afterwards

I can't say enough about how easy Nationwide's claim process is. The website is user friendly, straight forward to upload documents (receipts etc) and lets you know exactly where you are in the process. The explanation of benefits makes everything so easy. Very happy customer so far.
