Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a life saver
We rescued a puppy during the COVID stay at home which required playing catch up on some neglected vaccinations. Mamba also got a urinary tract infection which is rare in male dogs but nonetheless another thing to deal with. We noticed some odd behavior and called the 24 hour VetHelp line for advice, they gave us great information and advised us to take Mambe to the vet tomorrow. Having Pet Insurance eases the decision making when you're unsure if your pet needs to be seen or not, the expense is out of mind and you're only thinking about your Fur Baby's well being.

The best pet insurance available
I could not ask for a better insurance plan for my dog. They are always available for any questions. I have already recommended them to 5 of my friends. All have signed up with Nationwide.

Worth every Penny
I've had insurance on my pets for 20 years plus before VPI was bought by Nationwide. What a blessing and now submitting claims is easier than ever!

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
