Thankful for pet insurance

My 6 year old Golden, Sandy, has had a very tough go of it. First she needed a lump on her paw removed and tested for cancer. After it was found to be cancerous, my vet needed to go back in and make sure she got it all. This included removing a toe. The recovery from toe removal has proven much harder than anticipated and she has needed several bandage changes/treatment for infection. My Nationwide plan has covered EVERYTHING and I could not be more grateful. This could have easily become a situation where I needed to make decisions based on $, but having the Major Medical Plan has allowed me to focus on Sandy and her healing without worrying about the cost of what has become many visits to the vet. Thank you Nationwide!! You have truly been on my side throughout this very difficult time.

Submitting a claim was so easy and the response was quick!

We needed to take Leo to the vet and get some lab work done for a possible UTI. I submitted my claims with the app and I received a response within a couple of days. The check came in the mail within a week. Amazing service!!

Quick reimbursement

The first claim I did last year was frustrating but that was because my vet didn’t send the records to Nationwide. This time I knew what to do and I was reimbursed very quickly
