I have been using Nationwide Pet Insurance for Years!

I have been using Nationwide Pet Insurance for many years. I started using it because my company provides a discount however even without the discount I would have still stayed with Nationwide because: they care, it is easy to submit a claim, the different plans fit within my pets needs, the customer representatives are TOP NOTCH, the cost is exceptional for the types of plans, the claims are reviewed and actioned on within a very reasonable amount of time and the payout process is so seamless!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't use anyone else!!!!!!!

I spoke to Angela!

I spoke to Angela about 'what i thought was an error, a submission marked "duplicate". Angela was patient & found my error. She also (kindly) asked how my dog, Teddy was feeling. It was a wonderful experience. I have been with Nationwide for many years and many pets, they are great! But Angela made the experience less stressful on me. She deserves to be a manager! Sharria in customer service is wonderful

Sharria in customer service answered all my questions and clarified some frustrations I was experiencing with the amount of money I am paying for my dog Nacho’s medical coverage versus the amount I am being reimbursed. I pay a hefty monthly premium and it sometimes feels like I never get reimbursed because of my dogs medical exclusions. Sharia was kind and patient with me.

On Friday 2/24 a representative…

On Friday 2/24 a representative encouraged me to submit an invoice even if some items aren't covered. On Saturday 2/25 Angela was very helpful explaining that my claim (submitted today) likely won't register on the website till Monday

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
