Good and expeditious coverage

This is the first year I've had pet insurance, and I've used it twice. Once was for his yearly check-up, shots, and meds. The other was for an accidental face plant he had in the street when chasing a rabbit. I was content with the amount Nationwide paid on both claims. I'm a satisfied customer.

Wonderful Company!

We are so glad we decided to get health insurance for our pet. Nationwide has been nothing but wonderful and our claims are paid fairly and within a relatively short time. We opted for the top, whole coverage plan and have had absolutely no problems at all. I’m glad I researched pet insurers and decided to go with Nationwide. With them, the saying is definitely true... you get what you pay for.

Very Happy So Far!!

We got Nationwide as soon as we got our puppy! It has been amazing! It covers well visits and sick visits and medications! We have a healthy pup and we hope she stays healthy!

Completely satisfied

I was hesitant to buy pet insurance for my dogs because they were so young. I mean, what could go wrong? How about an ACL tear for one dog and some bladder issues for the other. On top of that, the wellness plan is amazing! You can afford to give your dog the best care possible! I had no issues filing claims or getting paid. When I had any questions, their customer service was exceptional. No buyer's remorse here!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
