Over 2 month delay in paying a claim---still waiting---not good business.

I have been waiting over 2 months for you to pay on a claim I submitted on May 4th. Received a letter saying it will be longer. No explanation why. I submitted all of my pets records from the Vet with the claim. The two smaller claims have been paid but this bigger claim is long overdue and my bank account could use the funds.

An insurance company that finally lives up to all its claims: fast and dependable.....a fantastic investment.

I am so very pleased with my choice for pet insurance. It has been far easier and more comprehensive than my own medical insurance. I would highly recommend this service to all pet owners. We started with our Corgi, and then added our bearded dragon lizard.....and we will continue to include each and every other four legged member of our family. No regrets whatsoever. Money well spent !!

Wonderful caring coverage

Been very happy with the excellent service and obvious concern Nationwide has for our furry child. I feel this is much more than just a pay check or a business for them.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
