You have been by my side for the last 21 years!

You have always been there for me. There through Aidan Quinn's 3 battles with cancer, and a host of other injuries and mishaps during his 15 years. You helped me keep him happy and healthy. And now, you are there with me with Quinn who just turned 6. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Reliable insurance

After a horrible confrontation with a larger dog, being hospitalized and on 3 different meds for weeks, our little rescue dog, is coming around. All the invoices were sent to Nationwide and they quickly emailed that the claim had been received and they would notify us of any and all updates. There have not yet been any complications with paper work and every payment received has been clearly explained. It is a comfort to know that we are dealing with such a reputable company while we continue to bring our "little guy" back to his old self! Thank you

Claims take long

It seems claims are taking longer and longer to process. Even the acknowledgment of claim received now takes 48 hours or more, when before it was 24 hours.

Im not renewing my insurance

This insurance company takes over 1 mo before you can get your money back. In it does not cover the most expensive medication. It dis not cover the skin problem my dog has. Ill just switch with Banfield next time.......

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
