Thank god for nationwide pet insurance!

We love nationwide. Tater’s recent lung infection almost put us in a hole but thankfully we had nationwide on our side and we were able to afford the care Tater needed to get better. It was really scary and awe full seeing him so sick. What a relief having insurance and not worrying about the cost and just being able to focus on getting our dog back. We love nationwide and always refer you guys when we get asked about insurance.

Very satisfied with Nationwide Pet Ins

So glad I decided to get Nationwide Pet Ins. when both my boxers were pups. Dexter is going on 3 yrs old,& just getting over his 3rd bout of pancreatitis. So far he's feeling better, just hard to find the appropriate food for his condition. Molly is going on 5 yrs old and had a tumor on the base of her tongue removed (Thank God it was benign). Nationwide Pet Ins. paid majority of their claims which was a God sent. Even if they were 100% healthy I would still have this ins, one never knows when their pet will get sick & being family members you don't want to hesitate getting them the best care.

Worth the Money for Peace of Mind, but SLOW service

I am a first time pet owner and probably overly cautious. I've been more willing to take my dog to vet for things that might not be a big deal because of this insurance. It provides me with peace of mind and helps cover the costs. My only complaint is it takes much longer to get reimbursed than it used to. Before I would receive a check in two weeks, now it is pushing to months and I have direct deposit now. Seems like more claim adjusters are needed to speed up the process.

Overall not bad

Overall I am ok with his policy. I have only used its 2x since I have had it. I only wish I was able to combine with another dog and get a lower rate

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
