I have always received the claim refund in timely manner. The time on the phone when i called are very few minutes. I will continue to use these services.

Bringing a new Kitten into the World

Throughout the last year of my Adult cats life I had gotten rid of the insurance because it did not benefit her due to a pre existing condition. But for my kitten it has helped a lot already. Apparently it is common with kittens after they get spayed that they are to active and the incision had come open. So after the deductible it was really helpful to get 90% of it back. I do believe that this insurance is a great thing, if you know how to manage a budget and consider the "depreciation" of an animals life and bodily functions.

Nationwide brings Peace of Mind

Nationwide has been amazing. I was always skeptical about pet insurance but when my husband and I got our new puppy we thought we should try it out just in case. We are so happy that we chose Nationwide as our Insurer. They have provided great customer service and are always available when I have questions. I also have never had any issues with submitting a claim or with getting reimbursed! When our puppy started having severe allergies we were so grateful that we could provide her the treatment and care that she needed with the help of Nationwide!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
