This insurance is great

And this insurance is great. I am very lucky to have this insurance offered to me through my employer. Medical care is extremely important for my pets as they are my fur children. Nationwide is extremely kind and helpful when you call them. Last year one of my Pets passed away and I received a very heartfelt condolences card from them. This is something I will never forget. Thank you

For Your Pet's Sake get Nationwide Pet Insurance

I think your insurance is so great, I tell all my friends to be sure to get it for their pets. .and many have. One friend can't stop thanking me. Right after getting the insurance, he fell carrying his puppy upstairs. The pups leg was broken and Nationwide paid the whole sizeable bill! You have been so great helping me give the best care for Willie, I cannot thank you enough!

Wonderful company and coverage!

Worth it just takes time getting money

We are very thankful for our pet insurance and couldn't do without it honestly. The only annoyances we have is 1) how long it takes to get reimbursed and 2) every time we submit prescriptions we always have to submit the written prescription from the doctor it is not kept on file

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
