I love the fact my Zoe has “heath” pet insurance. It’s great knowing that no matter what’s going on with her or what the future

I love the fact my Zoe has “heath” pet insurance. It’s great knowing that no matter what’s going on with her or what the future may bring I have Nationwide Pet Insurance to cover the costs. She had her teeth cleaned and a tooth extracted and I got about 80% back. That was several hundred dollars.

Paid for same procedure on my parents dog and not mine. Then jerked me around when I called them about it!

NOT WORTH IT! I have same policy as family member....my stuff was not covered and theirs was. I would NOT recommend Nationwide. Also, when I called, Maggie gave bad answers...not helpful at all.

Good insurance

I like this insurance ,only thing I don’t like is my girl has acute rhinitis and they only cover x amount and we are on major medical. .I also like that you can direct deposit your payments

Amazing, so glad I purchased the plan!

I purchased the insurance plan through my employer and boy am I ever glad I did! Not too long after my dog got sick, then ear infections, skin infections, and an eye trauma. After I met the deductible Nationwide reimbursed me 100 percent for the costs, which if I didn't have it would have put me out! They haven't let me down yet!

Better than expected service and response time to filed claims. Having Nationwide pet insurance gives me peace of mind knowing that I can provide Arya the best care if she needs it. Thank you.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
