What can I say, Nationwide insurance saved my Labradors life several times. JB has been treated for cancer, diabetes, ingestion of a foreign object and ACL repair.. Without Nationwide Pet Insurance JB wouldn't l be here with us. After ingestion of a foreign object JB had a 5 day inpatient hospital stay costing $13,000 Nationwide took majority of the burden for that visit and allowed me to provide care to JB until he regained his strength. Currently JB is a diabetic relying on 2 injections of insulin per day. The monthly cost of Insulin is roughly $175 and Nationwide covers that cost. Even though JB has so many health related issues , Nationwide premium stayed manageable. Reimbursement for claims is very quick and done on the computer. If your on the fence about insurance coverage for your pet, take my advise its worth every cent. People pay more for cable TV per month than it costs to cover your pet. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
