I Appreciate Nationwide so Much!

This is the second time that I have insured a pet with Nationwide Pet Insurance and in both instances my expectations have been exceeded. They helped me through the end of my pup Officer's life cycle and afforded me the opportunity to do more for him than I could have otherwise and have been there for me with our new pup Cadette as well! I tell anyone that will listen what a great partner Nationwide has been in our pet's health and can't recommend them enough.

Great plan

We love our insurance!! The plan covers so many things that it makes less of a financial burden to provide expensive medications and procedures for our pets to keep them as healthy as possible.

I'm so thrilled I have the policy, it helps so much wit the cost of medical care!

I really wish this type of policy was available years ago when I had my 2 golden retrievers. Now I don't need to worry about taking her in and what it will cost. I wish I had gotten the policy sooner.

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
