Peace of mind

Best thing I ever did for my fur baby! Just knowing that if something happens and he needs vet care, I don’t have to stress about the expense of it all… And I can focus on keeping my baby healthy!

In the beginning I was disillusioned with certain policies, but after voiciing concerns with mgt, our issues have been rectified

As previously stated in the beginning we were having difficulties with what they called pre-existing conditions which were ultimately misdiagnoses by a local veterinarian, after taking our dog to Cornell University, one of the top veterinary teaching schools in the country and getting a true diagnoses- and submitting all of this to nationwide from their department experts, we have been able to remove several if not all of the so-called pre-existing conditions. Nationwide was very fair though it took some effort on our part to get to the right department and people who took our concerns seriously. Our dog was just over one year old when we took out this policy so she was relatively healthy but had been unfortunately misdiagnosed by a local veterinarian. In fact she almost died due to his careless misdiagnosis. Once all of this was cleared up with Nationwide they have been stellar in their cooperation. The claims we submit are revised and reimbursed in a very timely manner .I cannot say enough good things at this point about them and I would never have another dog again without health insurance- best to get it when they are just a puppy of course as I have learned. Have had many many dogs over the years and because they are like my children I pay and pay and pay for everything; so thankful I found Nationwide because I did a lot of research and they were rated very highly. Despite the rough beginning they have proven to be everything I read. I did get the best policy which included wellness care and Jolene is now 2 1/2-years old-healthy beautiful, happy and loving. I would recommend Nationwide to anyone looking for a reputable insurance company for their pet! We have had no other problems or concerns since the one unfortunate incident in the beginning. We have been very pleased since then and to continue with them for all other pets that come into our life.
