Nationwide has been a lifesaver for me and my family

Ginger was a very special pet to us. She was so kind, gentle and loving. She was always a joy to be around. Two years ago in September she was diagnosed with Lymphoma and my world was turned upside down. Through 1.5 years of treatment Nationwide Pet Insurance helped us as we struggled to keep her alive, and she did very well for that time. 3 months ago we had to put her to sleep as the cancer had reasserted itself in her body and was very aggressive. We are still very sad at her passing but know that without Nationwide being our support we would have lost her much sooner. It's made a indelible impression on me.

Nationwide Pet insurance provides peace of mind for those who love their dogs and want them to have long and healthy lives!

Purchasing Nationwide for our Lab puppy Rex is the best decision and investment we have made to keep him healthy! Not only does it cover all his shots and flea prevention, but also his ear infection, cracked tooth removal and other veterinary care. I love that the claim process is so simple. We pay the bill, they complete the claim form and send it in and within a week or so we recieve a check. Most of all, it has given us the peace of mind that we will be able to provide Rex with the health care he needs!

Son-of-a-gun if Nationwide isn't actually on your side!

No questions; no quibbling; no surprises. Just a check that matched the terms of Liberty's policy to the letter. In this day and age, a company that's as good as its word is a true joy.

Third time is a charm

The first two claims were partly denied because of missing information. It took a few attempts to figure out what info the insurance company needed. After that the claim was completed a timely way.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
