You guys are awesome! Yes, I may have to wait 30 days for reimbursement, but the check does come and surely makes things nice. I have been with VPI for 6+ years and have absolutely no problems. It can get a little costly when insuring three dogs, especially with the cost continually rising with their age; but it is well worth the cost.

Coverage

The insurance for my four legged baby is good to have; however it would be better if we didn't have to wait 3-4 weeks to be reimbursed. This is my first time having insurance for him, so I didn't know that we pay then get reimbursed, I feel it should have been explained by an agent. Overall it's good insurance.

Nationwide came through!

Our 10 year old Yorkie mix woke up one day and was really acting lethargic. He tried eating a little but then refused as his evening meal rolled around. Then throughout the night he started vomiting everywhere much to my horror. The next morning I called our vet and they saw him quickly. We live in the country so I thought he got a hold of a wild animal, or worse ate something poisonous. The vet treated him and the next day he still wasn't any better so they thought he may have an obstruction which luckily wasn't the case either. So now x-rays and ultrasound added to the bill. .sigh... Basically after giving him various medications and staying the course he started improving and finally within a few days he was getting much better. Never really knew what it was but we filed our claim, and although it took awhile, (they needed records from previous vet) Nationwide came through and covered much of the cost. We really appreciate the peace of mind that our pet insurance will really pay! Thank you Nationwide.

No Hassles, and timely reimbursement. thanks!

Time of reimbursement after submission of claim was the time allowed stated in the policy. Thank you for a hassle free reimbursement. I liked the automatic deposit option. That was very time saving.
