Great reassurance

This was such a good decision! Although I have a relatively healthy dog, this has saved me money twice for issues with my pup. Gives me a great sense of comfort to know I don’t have to worry about making the right choice for my pet’s health due to financial constraints.

Peace of mind

It is such a relief to know that our dog's illnesses, accidents, and preventative care are covered. When I am worried about her, at least I don't need to worry about how I will pay for the vet visit!

Lifesaver

My dog has had many diagnostic procedures due to her history of stress colitis. This year has cost me well over $1000. Having pet insurance has been a lifesaver and gives us peace of mind, allows us not to have to think twice doing a procedure to benefit my pup.

Amazing Experience all around

I could not be more pleased with Nationwide pet insurance. Every single time Riggs does something to hurt himself I never worry about the cost. I also don't stress about filling out a cumbersome claim form because it literally couldn't be any easier. So all around I am very thankful for ya'll and your service!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
