Very Responsiveto Ruffy's Needs

We decided on pet Insurance only after a previous dear pet suffered a tragic illness and death, and we incurred large vet bills. It is a wise choice, especially since we have two very large breed dogs who are very active. Most vet visits are routine visits but then there is that stubborn ear infection or other anomaly that requires a trip to the vet. Nationwide always responds to our claims, and always seems genuinly interested in Ruffy's (and Turk's) wellbeing.

Nationwide is still and always on the Dog's Side!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is only as good as the person on the other end of the telephone and when you call for anything they are the most helpful and professional people you could ever want to encounter. If only my local physician or hospital was a detailed, friendly and prompt as the Nationwide team. My dog Maximus Von Barren Berg (www.maximusgsd.com) is happy and healthy with Nationwide in his side.

Our cat ended up with an acute case of severe pancreatitis and having pet insurance through Nationwide took a lot of the stress off after four visits to both the urgent Care and vet until he was stable and officially diagnosed. Thank you!

You are very quick to settle the bills we send you and never dispute a claim. We are very happy with the coverage you provide.

We have been impressed with the quality of the insurance program we purchased. It has a very wide range of services it covers. We are very satisfied with amount of reimbursements we received. This every pet owner should have a policy like this.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
