Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

Great service for the price and fast claims. Always keeping me apprised on the status of claims that are filed. Have referred many friends that have pets or just got a new pet to help with medical expenses that come with owning a pet.

Buttons had to have her spleen removed. The procedure was over $2,000 and we paid $100 deductible. It was an amazing savings. I'm waiting for my check over 3 weeks but I'm sure it won't be much longer. It never has been. I recommend pet insurance to everyone with a new pet.

I wouldn't be without insurance! Nationwide is the best. Toby was having scheduled dental surgery,when our Vet called in a panic. Our other dachshund had swallowed something metal and she wanted to do another x ray. Max had been in the ER the week before due to his throwing up. The ER had missed he metal piece. I ended up bringing Toby home, and camping out at Blue Pearl he next morning. Max had a endoscopy, but they couldn't find the metal piece. They decided it was small and wouldn't hurt him. Biopsies were done, and resulted in a diagnosis of IBD. The IBD was causing him to throw up and have diarrhea. Both bys are doing well now

Claim paid within 2 weeks of submission-we shopped around and this insurance was the best and the prem was just as good. I feel so secure that our 4 legged babies are in good hands! Thank you!

Even though there is a 2 hour time difference between Illinois and their head quarters, it is very easy to deal with both customer service and their agents. I have had this pet insurance for many years and even have Nationwide myself. Just as in insurance for us humans there are many different plans and payment options.
