Very happy
Very happy. Big procedure with no problems. Reimbursed 90% within a month. Only reason I didn’t give 10 stars is because you have to front the money at the vet office and then wait for reimbursement (although this is standard for other insurance as well)

Pet Insurance enabled me to provide the proper care my dogs needed!
I have been so thankful for Nationwide Pet Insurance! Before one of my dogs was 1 year old, he needed a knee replacement. Without Nationwide on my side, there would have been no possibility of Brutus getting his knee replacement.

I recommend this insurance to everyone I meet.
While our recent health issue was with our dog, this insurance has been great for all of the pets in our family. There is good communication from the time you file a claim to resolution. The communication is clear and they do a great job working with our vet office too. I am very pleased.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
