Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

Getting pet insurance was the best decision we made when we got our Bulldog puppy, Larry. English bulldogs are a breed unto themselves and within the first 5 months we've had many "first time puppy owners" visits to the vet. Having the pet insurance has ensured that we don't have to weigh our options for different or lesser treatments options, ensuring we keep Larry happy & healthy and us financially stable.

When we adopted Ernie, I investigated which company to buy pet health insurance from very thoroughly. I am very happy with Nationwide and the policy Ernie has with them. It is the Cadillac of pet insurance policies. The descriptions of the plans were very good and explained what was covered and what was not covered. I decided to go with the 90% reimbursement and $250 deductible plan. (Ernie has better health care than I do!) He has had a few medical issues pop up in the last 3 years and we are incredibly thankful for Nationwide's pet insurance plan. It even covers his Prescription food that the vet put him on! Can't say enough about how great Nationwide Pet Insurance is for us!

This year we found out that our beloved 7 year old German Shepherd has an autoimmune disease. although this is manageable with medication, it could be a long road for Colt. I work for a company that offered pet insurance for the first time last year. I am so thankful that we chose to join this plan! Nationwide has been awesome!
