Great comprehensive policy!

We have been so pleased with our Nationwide Pet Policy. We never expected to have to use it for anything major, but unfortunately, ended up in a situation where our pup needed surgery. Thank goodness for our insurance! We are much less stressed about calling the vet for littler things, too. Knowing we have insurance, we don't skimp on getting Lola the care she needs. Thank you for providing a wonderful service for our four-legged member of the family.

Insurance that Acts Like a Friend

Nationwide insurance has been nothing but wonderful while I care for my Berner boy’s health. Every interaction has been positive including claim submission, customer service questions, and claim response timeliness. I work in the healthcare profession (orthopedics), and dealing with insurance is often difficult for both providers and patients. My expectations were a bit jaded, but I’ve been so impressed, and truly feel like you care about my dog, and me. Emergencies Happen

I was so happy with the coverage you provided for Peggy. I don't know what I would have done if I did not have the peace of mind that I could pay back the money I borrowed for her surgery. Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
