Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

I was so pleased and surprised with the process of submitting a claim and the payment. Both procedures were covered as promised in our insurance coverage plan. I was nervous that there would be some shady insurance loophole or grey areas that would prevent full recover. But nationwide pet insurance has proved itself to be reputable and trustworthy in my eyes. I’m so pleased I decided on Nationwide pet insurance over the many other providers. Their coverage is complete and makes you feel like they truly value pets as family members.

Friends recommended Nationwide before we even got our first puppy, and given all the issues she has had it has been fantastic. With allergies or illness the claims are reasonable, explained and timely.

We have 2 dogs insured and I am happy that we have the coverage. Thinking about this particular claim I am not as satisfied as I have been for previous claims. I am not clear why certain items were not paid and I find the information difficult to follow. I really wit=sh that there was a place to view an overall summary of benefits paid - where we are with regards to the deductible. When it shows that the annual benefit have been paid or the total allowable has been paid, it would be really nice if that information was included. I am sure if I took the time to call I would get my questions answered. It just seems that it would be easy to provide a summary of the total paid vs the deductible and for items that have an allowable dollar amount - what the amount is would be great.
