A “must-have” protection for you precious pet.

My wife and I are so thankful we have pet insurance through Nationwide. It has really come through on the wellness expenses and in major medical expenses for our two golden retrievers.

Great deal

My dog developed this skin issues this year that required testing and 2-3 visits. With Having this insurance I wasn’t worried about the cost and could get my dog the care she needed to get well.

My pets deserve the same care I get...

I treat my pets the same as my children. They get the best of everything. I am so glad that I have coverage for my fur babies. Having recently received news that one of my kitties has hyperthyroid and needs constant care, I am glad I have the support of Nationwide Pet Insurance. I do not have to worry if the bill is going to be too high. They are prompt and the electronic payments from my claims are amazing.

Thank you for asking about Maxi. She is doing better everyday thank goodness. She was a very sick puppy and for a week I doubted she would make it, but with lots of prayers and a good vet she pulled through. For over two weeks I forced fed her Food and medications and stayed with her 24/7. She is a sweetheart and never complained, just looked at me with those big brown eyes. Thankfully, I have your insurance to help with the bills as they totaled about 3,000.00. A real hardship for a person on SSA if I would have had to pay the whole amount. You guys are the best. Tk you again

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
