Dez knows her stuff!

We had some questions about medication Archie would be taking long-term and our policy limits. Dez did a great job of explaining our coverage. We were very impressed with how knowledgeable she was, especially considering how complicated and confusing medical and insurance terms can be to the lay person. Nationwide is very fortunate to be represented by Dez. As business owners ourselves, we know a jewel when we deal with one - and Dez is definitely a bright one.

Tio's health

Tio had surgery to remove growths recently. I was pleased that Nationwide covered most of the expenses.

Absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made for me and my pets

Having a Dog is one of the best things that life offers. My dogs are the only family I have. I wanted the best care for them possible and vet bills can be extremely expensive. Their health is extremely important and a top priority! I was searching for pet insurance and I was referred by a neighbor to Nationwide. They not only had the best to offer but have been extremely nice and personal when it comes to my fur babies! They really do care! I’m am extremely grateful for Nationwide and will continue to refer ALL of my friends with pets to them! Thank you for all that you do Nationwide! Thank you for taking care of my fur babies extremely easy on me and my pocket!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
