Phone call I had

Your service is great and usually the phone people are too. The most recent call earlier this week was however not good. When I brought how good the reimbursement timing was very slow with my new vet (I moved this year from Bay Area to LA) and that the Vet is just not on top of it. Your employee jumped on it defending the VET and wouldn't let it, the more I tried to qualify the difference in Vet admin services with my previous equally- busy and long-time well known VET in a very upscale, demanding upscale town, the more she insisted on digging her heels in making excuses for the new Vet (that didn't really need any defending frankly), forgetting that I am the client and it's no her job to defend a vet that she doesn't know and where it's none of her business anyway. The whole exchange was very off-putting and strange...... and put a bad taste in my mouth around you guys ---- but I know you guys are great and have always been great for and to me and my pet, as well as with both my adult children and their many pets. This employee needs some coaching....

Improvement needed

Although I am very satisfied with your company, I do think it’s a crime that if you need additional information, none of your employees do it while reviewing a claim. All the information is ther to make a quick phone call. Instead the claim is denied for additional information needed bc it was missing and the consumer now waits another month to be reimbursed! Very frustrating and unnecessary.

Good company but needs to review their procedures if a client has a wellness plan for their pet!

I have spoken to your staff several times and find them quite knowledgeable and courteous. My only complaint is that since I have a wellness plan with my Vet here in Florida, all of Maggie's visits, shots, etc. are covered under that plan and they do not charge me additional monies. This means that I cannot use what would have been the actual costs toward my deductible with you. I am being penalized for having a wellness plan!!
