Always on my side

Nationwide always has my back. I’ve been reimbursed for every claim submitted. The return time tends to be a bit long but Nationwide always reimburses vet bills. There is always a continuous and open line of communication with Nationwide. I recommend Nationwide to everyone and anyone who has a family pet

Poor response time after submitting claims.

I have submitted claims and after two months have not received payment. There seems to be excuses to delay resolution of claims. Not very impressed or happy about the reasons for delay. I was told the had a large number of claims and could not adhere to the 30 day processing time. This is unacceptable. When premiums are due, the company expects to be paid promptly, so why should claims be delayed?

Lucky Socks Had Annual Dental Cleaning

Lucky Socks was not sick. She just had her annual dental cleaning and annual exam. I would like to know why you increased her monthly fee by $2.05. I do not recall receiving notification. Are planning to increase her monthly fee every year?

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
