They pay for what they say they will pay for no problems, just the claims take too long.

The insurance is great for emergencies, annual check ups, medicine, and they pay for what they say they will pay for. Usually have no issues with that. The claims do take too long to process. Also this is the second year for one of our pets and the monthly payment went up a lot more then expected, as long as next year is normal we will keep the insurance.

The coverage provided by Nationwide for my pet is worth every dime of that premium!

I could not be happier with the coverage and the handling of claims for my poor little Goldie Fawn who needed ACL surgery. We love our pets but sometimes costly care is not feasible. You take that worry away so we can enjoy the short time we get to have them in our lives, which is never long enough.

Terrible Service

Been waiting 7 weeks to have a claim paid. Allied today and was told it still had not been reviewed and asked if I wanted it expedited? Are you FING kidding me? Plan to cancel and write a bad review just about everywhere and anywhere I can.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
