Peace of mind
Molly had a "foreign object ingestion" at night the weekend before Christmas. Our regular vet wasn't available so we took her to the 24 hour emergency vets. I didn't have any hesitation taking her because I knew our insurance would help out with expenses. Thank you!

Great service
I had a really positive experience with nationwide when I had to submit my claim for my dog after he got sick. They were very quick to process, gave me all the proper email communication, and received my check promptly in the mail. The service is very much appreciated

The vet hot line is very helpful!
I called the vet hotline when my 7 month old German Shepherd puppy was having an allergic reaction in the car as I was driving. They gave good advice and even called the next day to follow up on how she was doing!

Nationwide Pet Insurance team the best customer service in the industry
The Nationwide Pet Insurance team has been and continues to be an outstanding team of professionals in providing the best customer service in the industry. Whenever I have called or submitted a challenging claim for Emma, the team was professional, polite and friendly in helping me understand the terms and conditions as well as the status of my claim(s). The team along with the process works efficiently and effectively to help me ensure that both Emma and Libby have the best pet insurance coverage available.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
