Doesn’t pay claims
We signed up for the full coverage pet insurance that includes yearly teeth cleaning. My dog had her teeth cleaned in August and she had to have some teeth pulled. Nationwide still hasn’t reimbursed me because they are trying to prove that she had some sort of pre-existing condition with her teeth. Going on 6 months is unacceptable.

Awesome service and timely refunds!
I have been with Company for years and even through the acquisition the customer service department is extremely helpful and the refund checks come within a few weeks. It’s by far the best decision I ever made!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
