So happy we have this insurance!
Ella is my 3rd dog. I never had pet insurance for my other 2 dogs, and I had HUGE medical costs with both. I decided I would never go without pet insurance again! I did my research, and I loved the fact that Nationwide offers so many coverage option levels. I took the best plan that they offered. It is not cheap, but I feel it is worth every cent for my peace of mind, and to save my credit cards from being charged with huge medical bills. :)

Grateful for NationWide insurance for helping with the care of my pet
The irritation in the left ear of Taddy is much better. He is no longer scratching the ear. This is the second dog that I have covered under the VPI/Nationwide insurance program.

All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
