very happy with what I know about the coverage but i am unclear about what is/isn't covered and can't find that information

Submitting a claim is easy! I can't find the email address to submit a claim to though. Also, having trouble difficulty navigating website to find what exactly is covered by my insurance but I do remember when signing up being pleased with this plan over competitors. Overall happy with this insurance.

Coverage for what we need.

We appreciate that acupuncture treatments were covered for Parker. This is in addition to the western medicine appointments as well. Easy to send in documentation and no extra questions or paperwork. Thanks!!

Nationwide rocks

My dog swallowed one of her Christmas gift over the holidays. We tried all avenues for her to pass it but she could not. Surgery was needed ASAP. After the holiday expenses, we could could not afford another big expense. After submitting the claim, Nationwide covered 90% of the veterinary bill. That was $1,600 out of a $1,800 bill. We love Nationwide!!

Love the care I receive, the time line is inconvenient

Everyone who I speak to is knowledgeable and caring, they ask about Jax and really show compassion. Your customer service team is incredible! The only thing that has been a cause of frustration is the timeline to receive a payment for a claim, Jax is going through diagnostic steps right now (fingers crossed it will help!) So there have been an increase in expenses, some have been paid out but others required medical history review so could take up to 60 days, which with mounting vet costs isn't very convenient. I understand the process takes time but if you were able to improve the timeline I would be thrilled!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
