Wonderful
I honestly don’t even care that you give gift cards or whatever you do for referring people. I sit in the lobby waiting for our dog who was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I tell everyone I possibly can about how wonderful nationwide is. Unfortunately her disease is very emotional for us and expensive. Just to know that nationwide is always there for us and truly does help with veterinarian bills makes all this just a little bit easier.

Best Pet Insurance I Could Ask For
We purchased Nationwide Pet Insurance within a few days of us getting our Goldendoodle. We opted for the premium package with the Wellness coverage and have awesome coverage and service from Nationwide. The service for claims was simple and even got better when Nationwide enabled electronic payment for the reimbursements. Our vet keeps a template of the claim form in our dogs file and upon completion of the visit they are usually able to send in the claim within 24 hours. Within a few days we are notified by Nationwide that they received the claim for processing.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at approximately $12 per month.
Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
