Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

I am and have been very pleased with the service and attention Nationwide has provided. I have friends that have had to make hard decisions about treating their dogs' medical issues due to finances. I am so glad I have a resource with Nationwide to help with medical bills.

We purchased Nationwide Pet Insurance for our two boxers after comparing all the other companies out there. Believe me, I'm a person who does her research! This has proven to be a perfect company for us. The cover wellness and have covered surgeries and much more for our two furbabies. Its such a relief when a problem arises that we can tell the vet to do all necessary tests and treatments needed. Our Daisy somehow contracted tetanus and all treatment was covered. We couldn't be happier.

Yes, thank you for asking. Abbey is feeling much better and is back to her normal self. However, I used to have VPI Insurance nd they paid much quicker. This particular claim did come quicker than usual but normally it does take quite a while, a month or more, to receive the check. I have found that VPI was more prompt.

I am overall happy with Nationwide. The only problem I have is that the claims take 4 weeks to process. I wish it would be half that time

We have 3 with coverage and soon to be 4 K-9 Athletes who travel the U.S. and Canada to compete in AKC/CKC Field Trial events. The NFL of dog sports is tough game. Success in this venue is widely credited by vets to good genetics, healthy/physically sound, and intelligent K-9's. It is a communal belief that without the best healthcare regiments, proper training and conditioning program provided for the K-9 Athlete it is near impossible to achieve a career of Field Trial success. Having a sound K-9 competitor, no hassle healthcare coverage allows me to make quick decisions about therapies/procedures that lengthen the life and career of our K-9's. In turn lessening procedures and rehab recovery times. No longer are the days when my K-9's have to wait for care or procedure because I can not afford it at the time. This peace of mind enables me to enjoy my dogs to the fullest. This why I am truly Thankful for your service and coverage options!!!
