Nationwide Pet insurance gives me peace of mind that my "big baby" will be cared for!

Kona is family. Large breed dogs can have various health concerns that can be costly. Knowing Kona can always get the care she needs through Nationwide Pet insurance gives us peace of mind.

Claims processed quickly, accurately, and no suprises

We have been with Nationwide Pet Insurance for a few months now. With a new puppy, there have been the normally planned and unexpected visits to the vet and animal hospital. Each claim has been processed within the expected time frame, accurate, and I haven't been surprised by what was and what wasn't covered. The EOBs have been very good describing what was covered and what was not based on the policy scope. I wish my own health insurance provider worked this effectively. I hope Nationwide Pet Insurance continues to exceed my expectations.

Excellent no hassle service!

I’ve had nothing but great service from Nationwide Pet Insurance. We unfortunately have several claims we’ve had to file but Nationwide has made these times so easy and hassle free for us while we were caring for our pet.

Best Pet Insurance!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
