Made a horrible situation MUCH better

We recently had a horrible experience while boarding our puppy. We came home from a five day get away to an emaciated, severally dehydrated dog. When the Vet, who was amazing, called to tell me that poor Kona needed major surgery, my stomach went tight. After an initial panic about if my little fur daughter would ever be ok...the second set of panic set in regarding the cost of this procedure. Luckily, I had been holding a policy with Nationwide since we got Kona. I was able to say "yes" to everything the Vet had recommended to get my little girl back to the on her furry feet. Knowing that Nationwide would reimburse me such a high percentage of my out of my pocket expenses allowed me to focus on Kona recovering, instead of worrying about how I was going to pay this steep Vet bill. THANKS Nationwide!!

Glad we had insurance!

Our dog Jem recently needed spine surgery and insurance covered a good chunk of the cost! They even covered the cost of the MRI. Without the surgery Jem would have been paralyzed. She is doing much better now and is walking normal again. Thank you Nationwide!

Whole Pet plan beats its competition

It's working out great. Most plans wouldn't accept my kitten because she was rescued under 6 weeks old. Most plans has restrictions about what's covered and what's not covered on a visit. For example, for an emergency visit, some plans will cover everything except the office visit or dr. visit fee. Now, with Whole Pet, I don't have to worry about any of that. The plan covered 90% of the entire bill after a one time annual deductable of $100. Best of all, when compare to another popular plan that covered only accidental and major illness, Whole Pet covered everything for just a couple dollars more. I know my kitten won't need the insurance as much after the first year. It's the peace of mind I won't have to guess at future bills that's worth the most.
