Very happy to have Pet's insurance

Me and my husband are very happy to have Nationwide as our pet health insurance. CJ has been having issues with his leg for a couple of years now. It was very difficult to diagnose, in fact, after biopsies, surgeries, blood tests, and more, the origin of his leg infection has not been determined. He is taking the Dermatopic medication, which helps boost his immune system, and helps with any issues from his immunology system, and he does a lot better when he is done with the monthly treatment. He is on the third round now, and we hope that is all he will need. He is already showing improvement.

Not sure about value yet

Hello, Thanks for asking for my opinion. I got a puppy last June and immediately got her pet insurance through Nationwide. The cost of the multiple vaccinations and visits, plus heart worm prevention, plus getting her spayed was very high! I had no idea. I submitted all the costs and I'm sure you covered them per the policy, though it is very difficult to figure out what, exactly, the policy covers and how much. For example, I thought all vaccinations are covered, but apparently there is a limit, and my vet went over that limit. Anyway, long story short, after I submitted the claims and got reimbursed for what you cover, I basically got back an amount equal to what I have paid for insurance so far, so it's a net neutral for me so far. I hope she never gets sick, but if she does, I'm hopeful there will be a more obvious benefit (for me :-) Thanks, Karen Villarreal
