Insurance has been a blessing!

When we found out our 1 year old boxer had renal dysplasia our hearts were broken. We knew we would do whatever we needed to keep her with us as long as we can. Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a blessing with the costs of the prescription food, medications, and the additional check-ups required. I can't say enough great things about this company. Easy claim process, easy reimbursements and no issues. Thank you Nationwide!

The ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

Nationwide customer service is wonderful, they resolve any concerns that I have in a timely manner. the submitting of claims is so easy and the response is great; along with the explanation of benefits. So happy I went with Nationwide!

My dog is relatively healthy but we wanted the full wellness package just in case. He hasn't had any complications or many health issues but seeing as it's our first year having him, we are still figuring out where to go for the best care and price. Nationwide has never questioned our decisions and have delivered on their policy. We're so happy with our choice and recommend them to all our friends who are dog parents!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
