Happy Result

My French Bulldog May was not feeling well and after two days visited our veterinarian. She had xrays and tests which resulted in high costs but was given medication and recovered quickly. Thanks to my insurance coverage. Most of the costs for her care was returned. The claim process was simple and the check arrived promptly after I filed. Owning three dogs makes pet insurance a must for me.

Best insurance plan!

I debated about getting pet healthcare coverage, but knew that the bills when received were always more than I anticipated. After getting the insurance, the well dog check -ups and teeth cleaning have made a spry one out of my senior dog. It is delightful to know he gets what he needs without me stressing about covering a huge bill.

Outstanding professional care and service!!

My dog (Colt) is now two years old and during these young years he has had he share of problems! The biggest being TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery. A very expensive surgery and recovery time. Without Nationwide Insurance I'm not sure how we would have handled the expense... Nationwide really provided very professional service and were exceedingly prompt in claim review and reimbursement. I can't say enough about the care and peace of mind Nationwide has provide us. I have no doubt that as we move toward the future with Colt Nationwide will be there for us if we need them!

Very good. Gives you peace of mind to care for your pet

Having this pet insurance let me to take proper care of my dog in a preventive and curative way. I know I will have the support needed to do so. Is easy to place the claim and the response does not take long.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
