Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

I've had Nationwide for over a year now and couldn't be happier. Submitting claims is very easy and knowing that I will be reimbursed is wonderful. Owning pets is expensive and it's nice to have a bit of a cushion. I've called customer service once recently about a claim and the young lady was very pleasant and helpful. Just a great company to deal with

Your insurance for pets gives me peace of mind. Knowing that I can care for Zoe better having insurance. You guys are a big part of keeping my dog healthy and happy, and I thank you for offering this type of insurance. If I could hug you guys I would. My sincerest appreciation to you all. I had been planning on cancelling my policy that I held for a year once 2019 began as my cats are both very young and never ran into any issues. I kept putting it off though as I kept saying to myself "what if?" Less than a month into the new year one of my cats developed an issue that required multiple trips to the vet including multiple X-Rays and new medication. I sent the required forms in and after about a month Nationwide responded for each particular claim. The first time I was asked to provide additional information for the separate claims, and after about a week or so Nationwide responded positively. All in all I submitted roughly 3-4 different claims for this event over a two month period. Each claim takes roughly 30 days for review and if additional information is requested it is about another week or so. They were very clear and concise about what is and is not covered under my plan so I was not surprised when I was given claim quotes. This experience plus the desire to see my pets protected for their entire lives has made me decide to keep my plan.
