Shelby had a broken tooth that required removal. Nationwide covered most of the cost of the removal. The claim process was seamless.

Incredible, very fair, fast see
The prompt and fair way our claim was handled was unbelievable. We have had very negative results with other pet insurance companies over the years. Our experience with Nationwide was truly “a breath of fresh air.”

Costs a lot and did not realize it would go up every year
The cost is excessive for what is paid back. It takes too long to have a claim reviewed, 30 days is too long.
Not worth the money it seems unless there is an accident or disease that even possibly may be covered by policy.

I would definitely recommend Nationwide Pet especially for a big dog. You are so easy to work with!
I love your service. My only critique would be that you send me emails to enter contests that I can't enter because we are already customers. How about contests for current customers?

Easy process for clIms
Our dog has had unanticipated health issues. Having this insurance has been helpful.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
