Love Nationwide Pet Insurance
I am very lucky. My veterinary office sends my claims in for me so the process is very easy. The only thing that I would warn new pet owners taking out the insurance is to make sure you get it enough in advance of getting your pet. What Nationwide considers 2 days and what you do may be 2 different things. I thought the 2 day period was up when I got our pup but it wasn’t. She had a UTI & it was considered a “pre-existing condition”. Fortunately she did NOT have anymore and I petitioned for it to be reviewed & removed as a pre-existing condition. Other than that, claims have been very easy. If I got another dog I would get Nationwide Pet Insurance for it too.
