Experience is worth the money
We've had a good experience submitting claims (super easy) and getting reimbursed for our dog's (Odin) care. I've also had to call in once and the rep was super helpful in that he was able to help without escalation. He also seemed to genuinely care about our experience and it made me quite happy that Nationwide provides our insurance.

BEST PET INSURANCE EVER !
My wife & I purchase Nationwide Pet Insurance for our Yellow Lab Sandi without hesitation. We wanted Sandi to be protected from the very beginning.
As with any young puppy , we wanted Sandi to be protected & healthy for all her dog years and knowing that her Wellness Check ups would help her with the growing years. Linda and I are very Pleased that when Sandi needed Medical Attention, Nationwide gave us that piece of mind that Sandi's Medical & Recovery was covered to help ease the burden of Vet Bills.
Hats Off to Nationwide and the Hargrove's appreciation.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
